Hamburg Township is gearing up for this year's Huron River Clean-Up Day. We are going to "Let The River Flow!"  by cleaning up garbage, trash and tires, and repositioning woody debris. 

When:  Saturday, April 26, 2008, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  If you can come for half a day, plan either morning from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon; or afternoon from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  A lunch will be provided from 12:00 to 1:00.

Where:  Marshalling Location:  Livingston County Wildlife & Conservation Club, 6060 M-36, Hamburg Township (Click here for map to the Club)

Work Locations:  Work will be done in portions of the various segments of the Huron River.

Sponsors Needed:  Commercial and individual sponsors for the event are invited, as well as volunteers who are looking to fulfill service requirements (e.g., Boy Scouts).

Also needed are rowboats with oars, pontoon boats, work/rubber gloves, garbage bags, food, waders, and life jackets.
