While the Finance Advisory Committee has been meeting periodically throughout the past couple of years, it was formally established by a resolution of the Township Board of Trustees as a standing Township Advisory Committee at the Township Board's regular meeting on August 17, 2010. One of the Finance Advisory Committee's projects, the Township Finance Control Book, is updated regularly and posted to this website.

Meeting Location: Meetings are held in the Hamburg Township Hall Board Room at the Hamburg Township Hall, 10405 Merrill Road, Hamburg.

Committee Members: The 2010 members of the committee are: the Township Treasurer (Allen Carlson), the Deputy Township Treasurer (Tricia Bazzy), the Director of Accounting (Angela Rabb) and two Board members (trustees) appointed by the Township Board of Trustees. The two Trustees appointed by the Township Board of Trustees on 08/17/2010 to serve on the Finance Advisory Committee were Phil Semprevivo and Bill Hahn.

Hamburg Township's fiscal year begins July 1st and ends June 30th.

Budgets for the next fiscal year are prepared and adopted by the Hamburg Township Board by June 30th of each year.
