The Auxiliary is collecting items for our troops
overseas. Travel size shampoo, body wash, bar soap, sunscreen, lip
balm, eye drops, disposable cameras, phone cards, and hard candy are
the items our troops are asking for the most. Contact Rose at 734-878-6663

items. We are also continuing to collect new underwear and socks,
slightly used or new jeans, sweatshirts, and jackets to go to the
VA hospital. Please place the items in the container provided at
the Post.
We are still collecting box top labels that
say “Educational” on them. These can help our area schools obtain
recreational and educational items. There is a canister at the Post
to drop labels in. If you have a cell phone you would like to donate,
(they do not have to work).
You can bring them to the Post and place them in the special receptacle.
The phones are refurbished before they are sent to the military
families. We are working with Preview Properties on the “Cell
Phones for Soldiers” project.
