Board of Review - What is it?

Board of Review is a board of three (3) property owners in the Township whose purpose is to review the values that are set by the Assessor and to correct any errors in the assessing process. The three current members are Annette Koeble, Gerald Stefansky and Howard Dillman.

Board of Review - March 2010 Schedule

Hamburg Township Board of Review

The Hamburg Township Board of Review will be held at the Township Hall 10405 Merrill Road on:

  • Monday March 8th 2010 at 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday March 9th 2010 at 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday March 10th 2010 at 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Call (810) 231- 1000 for an appointment after receiving your notice.  Property owners may appeal by mail. 

Appeals by mail must be received by March 10th  before 12:00 p.m. 

Poverty applications must be received before the end of the business day on March 5th. 

The organizational meeting of the Board of Review was held on March 2nd, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.  

The tentative equalization factor for all classes is 1.0000.

The following are the classes and tentative ratios:

  • Agricultural         49.90
  • Commercial        49.95
  • Industrial             49.99
  • Residential          49.83
