General cemetery information, including names of persons buried in Hamburg Township Cemeteries, can be obtained by calling the Clerk's office during regular business hours at 810-231-1000 Ext.207. Other Vital Statistics (birth and death records) are available through the office of the Livingston County Clerk at 517-546-0500. There are three maintained cemeteries in Hamburg Township: 1) Placeway Cemetery on M-36 at Chambers Road three miles east of the Village of Pinckney 2) North Hamburg Cemetery at Pettysville and Swarthout Roads 3) Hamburg Cemetery at Hamburg Road and Strawberry Lake Road Hamburg Mausoleum - Hamburg Cemetery at corner of Hamburg and Strawberry Lake Roads in the Village of Hamburg

PURCHASE OF CEMETERY LOTS: Cemetery lots are available for purchase by calling the Cemetery Sexton, Dale Bennett, at his home at 810-231-1066. Additional Opening/Closing fees are paid directly to the Sexton for his labor.
