So many people have helped make the Museum successful. Of special note, at this time of year, is Jack Williams. For six years Jack has maintained the front lawn of the Museum. Since they live next door, he and his wife, Kay, keep an eye on the building as well. In fact, one cold night an artificial fireplace in a display was left on. Jack saw the light, got dressed and peered through the window, thinking that there might  be a fire. Needless to say, that display is now carefully checked before closing the Museum.  Thank you Jack and Kay!

Opened in 2004, the goal of the museum is to preserve and present the history of Hamburg.

The museum is located in one of Hamburg's major historic buildings.  The building began in the mid-1850's as a Methodist Church; housed the Township offices in the mid-1900's and was the home of the Hamburg Township Library for over 20 years.
