The Pinckney Lakeland Hamburg Hell Chamber of Commerce is hosting a forum for Hamburg Township clerk candidates from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Hamburg Township boardroom, 10405 Merrill Road.
The current clerk, Jim Neilson, was appointed by the Board of Trustees after former Clerk Matt Skiba was recalled. Neilson will run in the election on the Republican ticket.
Annette Koeble, who was interviewed by the Board of Trustees for the same position two months ago, will run on the Democratic ticket.
Geoffrey Boltach will run as an independent.
Each candidate will be allowed five minutes to speak and will answer questions submitted by the audience.
The forum will also provide Pinckney Community Schools Superintendent Dan Danosky five minutes to speak on the district’s $59 million bond issue. He’ll also answer questions from the audience.
Rick Beaudin will moderate the forum. The forum will be broadcast live over Channels 99/993. After post-production is finished, the video of the forum will be placed on this website and also re-broadcast over Channels 99/993.
