DAILY PRESS & ARGUS • February 8, 2010

Nearly a foot of snow is expected in Livingston County, beginning on Tuesday and continuing into Wednesday, according to The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac.

The agency has issued a winter storm watch for the county, predicting six to 10 inches of snowfall and winds of 15 to 30 mph.

The snowfall will spread throughout the region during the day Tuesday, with the snow becoming heavy on Tuesday night. Snow showers are expected to taper off by Wednesday afternoon.

Driving conditions for Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning may become dangerous, and drivers should be aware of road conditions and blowing snow.
