Sports Programs

Hamburg Township does not sponsor or operate any sports programs.

At the present time, the sports programs that utilize the Hamburg Township park facilities are operated as part of the activities of the following organizations:

These groups are non-profit organizations, run by a membership elected Board of Directors. Each group must register with and receive approval from the Hamburg Township Board of Trustees for their uses of the park facilities.

The organizations are totally responsible for all registrations, games, events and expenses related to their sports programs. 

Hamburg Enhanced Recreation Organization (H.E.R.O.) (Family Funfest)

Hamburg Enhanced Recreation Organization (H.E.R.O.) hosts the annual Family Funfest in June, and has hosted the Moving Wall Vietnam Veterans Memorial in 2010.

Hamburg RC Flyers Club

The Hamburg RC Flyers Club operates a model RC airplane flying strip area at the western edge of the park.
