The Hamburg Township Police Department, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Detroit Field Division, and Livingston and Washtenaw Narcotics Enforcement Team (LAWNET) held a joint press conference at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009 in the meeting room at the Hamburg Township Hall, 10405 Merrill Road, Hamburg, Mich.

Law enforcement officials announced the arrest of approximately 50 persons involved in the trafficking of heroin and other dangerous drugs in Livingston County and southeastern Michigan.
