Life Portrait Painting Modeling

Our Friday Life Portrait Drawing and Painting group is always looking for folks to come in and model for them. They will pay you $35 and it's fascinating to watch them work. If you are modeling, you will strike your pose for about 45 minutes, take a break and then resume the pose. Or join the group if you want a live model. Bring your own materials and easels along with $5 to pay your share of the model fee. Please call the office if you're interested or call Priscilla at: 734-954-9141.

Senior Center Library

Just in time for all your summer reading pleasure, here is all the information you need about our Library. The Library area is located in our Dining Room and is available any time the center is open. All books in the library are available to anyone who wishes to read and enjoy them. You may take books out for as long as you wish and bring back when you're able to although we do ask that the reference books stay in the center. You do not need to "check" the books out. Books may be brought in as a donation to our library. We prefer hardbacks and like them to be put in the 'pretty box' under the bulletin board as our 'librarian' puts them in the proper 'genre' and in alphabetical order. If you have any questions just check in the office and we'll be glad to help!! :)

music staffFriday Kitchen Band

Meet Ups are neighbors getting together to learn something, do something, share something…………...and the Kitchen Band would like to try and get a Meet Up Group started here at the Senior Center for the Kitchen Band. There would be a monthly charge as there is a fee to become a Meet Up group through the website. As a group there would be a greater exposure on the Meet Up website and the opportunity to meet more people and expand our activities. The Kitchen Band would like to attract seniors who like music and dancing to the songs of the 30's through the 50's. If this sounds like something you would enjoy then get in contact with the Hamburg Senior Center.!
