Livingston Catholic Charities
Linda Bauby, Resource Advocate for LCCC, has regularly scheduled hours at the Center. She can help with Medicare, housing, insurance, food, etc.
Linda is scheduled to be at the Senior Center the first Wednesday of the month. She will be at the Center on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Area Agency on Aging 1-B
The Area Agency on Aging 1-B is the first place a senior, disabled adult, or family caregiver should turn to when looking for information on local services and resources in southeast Michigan to help a senior or person with disability remain living independently in their own home for as long as possible.

AAA1-B SameAddress Service
Through the AA1-b, SameAddress provides the most comprehensive & reliable solutions that enable safe, comfortable and independent living for seniors that choose to age at home. So what does this mean? It means there are a couple options to choose from: Senior Concierge or In Home Care Solution. Concierge Solution: daily living support services include transportation, shopping, meal prep, laundry, light & heavy housecleaning, chores, bill paying, pet care, home repairs, financial & estate planning, taxes, etc. are all available for a price that is about the price of 2 nights in a 4-star hotel per year; this service fee is charged on an annual basis. In Home Solution: this program provides personal care assistance at home to maintain everyday health & wellness with our specialists that are trained to respond to all types of personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, skin care, caregiver respite, medication management, etc. This program was developed for seniors (although all ages can use it) with the cost for their services customized based on client needs. It is available 24 hours 7 days per week. St. Paul Lutheran - Daisy's Pantry
When/Where: 1st & 3rd Wednesdays - 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. - at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 7701 East M-36, Hamburg
St. Paul Lutheran Church sponsors a pantry for anyone who has emergency needs. Their Daisy Pantry will supply food for those in need. There are no questions asked or appointment needed, just show up. If you have any questions, call St. Paul Lutheran Church at 810-231-1033.
Meals On Wheels
The Area Agency on Aging 1-B supports Meals on Wheels and senior dining programs in Livingston County. Home delivered meals (Meals on Wheels) are available to individual who is age 60 and over and meets program eligibility requirements. (Note: this program is not based on income but the inability to adequately prepare meals.)

Medicare and Medicaid Assistance
Through the Medicare Medicaid Assistance Program, the Area Agency on Aging !-B has trained staff and volunteer counselors available to address questions on health care benefits. Click here for more information.
