Hi Everyone!

Y’know I was really kind of hoping that we were going to have a fabulous spring since we had such an intense winter.  We just had a few inches of snow and  as I write this it’s the middle of April!!!  Here’s hoping Mother      Nature doesn't’ have any more surprises for us but I did read in the newspaper that we are still in an El Nina weather pattern and that it should last through the end of April.   Geez...…..I hope they’re right!!!  I would really enjoy some warmer weather!!

          I just wanted to pass on some information regarding the “Grandparents Scam” which has been going around the area lately.  If you receive a phone call from someone claiming to be your grandchild and they are asking for money on an emergency basis, please please PLEASE  hang up and re-call them back or call another relative to verify the accuracy of their claim!!!     Several seniors in OUR area have been called and have actually lost thousands of dollars sending money to someone they thought was their grandchild in distress.  So PLEASE  be aware!!  I have more information in the office and there’s more in the newsletter.

          This month is Memorial Day so lets remember what that day stands for……….remembering our fallen soldiers who have so bravely defended our nation and citizens.  Let’s all say a prayer and bow our heads in their honor.
