DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME BEGINS THIS WEEKEND
Starting in 2007, daylight time begins in the
United States on the second Sunday in March (March 11,
2007) and ends on the first Sunday in November (November
4, 2007). On the second Sunday in March, clocks are set
ahead one hour at 2:00 a.m. local standard time, which
becomes 3:00 a.m. local daylight time. On the first Sunday
in November, clocks are set back one hour at 2:00 a.m.
local daylight time, which becomes 1:00 a.m. local standard
time. These dates were established by the Energy Policy

MARCH 2007 BOARD OF REVIEW SCHEDULED
Hamburg Township March Board of Review for 2007
regarding property assessments will be held on:
- Monday, March 12, 2007,
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, March 13, 2007,
1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 14, 2007, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Property Assessment Notices were mailed out
during the week of February 26th - March 2nd. To
set up your appointment, contact the Assessing Department
(Pam Sudney) at 810-231-1000 Ext 211. Property owners
may appeal by mail. Letters must be received before
the last day of hearings.Hardship applications must
be received before the end of business on March 13,
2007. The tentative equalization factor is 1.00.
The organizational meeting
of the Board of Review was held
on March 6, 2007 at 10:00 a.m.
ON THE SEWER SYSTEM? REMEMBER TO DISPOSE OF YOUR WATER SOFTENER DISCHARGE PROPERLY
For those property owners in Hamburg on the sewer system: remember that the water discharge generated from the water softener tank CANNOT be discharged into the sewer line. It is unlawful to have sump pumps, downspouts and water softener backwash connected to the Hamburg Township Sanitary Sewer System.
