Patrick J. Hohl was elected to a 4 year term (2012-2016) as Hamburg Township Supervisor after serving as Township Supervisor from 2008-2012.
Previously, Mr. Hohl has served as Trustee of Hamburg Township since November 1996. Re-elected to a second 4-year term as Trustee in November 2004. In addition, Mr. Hohl serves on several Hamburg Township committees. They include the Sewer Committee, Public Safety Committee, and Personnel Committee.
Education/Degrees: Bachelor of Science degree, Industrial Management, 1976; Master of Business Administration, 1978.
Experience: Owned the Village Party Store from 1984 to December 2007; managing parter of the Hamburg Village Plaza; Hamburg Township Trustee, 12 years; Hamburg Township Planning Commission (1986-1991) and chairman (1989-1991). Over 20 years of involvement in Hamburg Township government, extensive diversified business experience, including a large multinational Fortune Top 50 corporation, a personally owned retail business, ownership and management of a commercial shopping center and extensive community and school involvement.
Community Involvement: Hamburg Township Trustee, 12 years; Hamburg Township Planning Commission (1986-1991), chairman (1989-1991); Livingston County Catholic Social Services (1990-96); active in the Livingston County 4-H program; Michigan D N R Hunter Safety Instruction, instructed more than 3,000 students; 2004 and 2007, St. Mary Catholic Church Knight of the Year; president, St. Mary Catholic School PTC; Hamburg Fire Inc. 40th Anniversary Committee.
2016-2017 Budget News
Hamburg Township is currently finalizing the new budget for the FY 2016-2017 which begins July 1, 2016. A public hearing on the proposed budget will be held on June 7, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. View proposed 2016/2017 Fiscal Year Draft Budget.
