SPECIAL MEETINGS

Regular monthly meetings are held by the Township Board of Trustees, Planning Commission, Hamburg Environmental Review Board and Zoning Board of Appeals.

However, sometimes issues may arise on a project that may cause a project developer, contractor or property owner to wish to speed things up and have one of the boards or commissions meet earlier out of their normal cycle to handle the issues.

Scheduling requests for special meetings may be made through the Planning & Zoning Department.  There are NO GUARANTEES that any particular board or commission will agree to hold a special meeting, because sometimes the short-notice scheduling request does not permit a quorum of members to meet.

Special meeting fees apply to hold these meetings and are required to be paid prior to the meeting being held, and are non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the special meeting.  For the schedule of special meeting fees, see the Hamburg Township Fee Schedule.
