The Process For Requesting Variances From the Zoning Ordinance Requirements
From time to time, the Zoning Ordinance as applied to a particular situation may disallow or require certain building and/or construction requirements or limitations.
Or, the interpretation of the Zoning Ordinance requirements by the Planning & Zoning Administrator may be in conflict with an interpretation that a land use permit applicant holds.
For these and other similar types of situations, the Zoning Board of Appeals is the first-stop on the appeals process.
The ZBA meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Township Hall Board Room.
Typlcally, all paperwork and fees for an appeal must be turned in to the Planning & Zoning Administration office four (4) weeks prior to a schedule ZBA meeting for the appeal to be placed on an agenda for the next month.
