Public Hearing NoticeTo mitigate the spread of COVID-19, protect the public health, and provide essential protections to vulnerable citizens, in-person contact should be limited. Critical mitigation measures include social distancing and limiting the number of people interacting at public gatherings.” This includes public meetings. Pursuant to a decision of the Hamburg Township Board of Trustees at their December 1, 2020 meeting, all meetings of public bodies will be virtual meetings as authorized under the Open Meetings Act, MCL 15.261, Et Seq., as amended. The township will utilize the video/audio conferencing platform GoToMeeting.
Members of the public body will be able to hear and speak to each other for the entire meeting. Members of the public will be able to hear (and possibly see) members of the public body during the entire meeting, but will only be able to speak during the public hearing portion of the meeting.
The public may access the electronic meeting from a computer, tablet, or smartphone. To participate in the public hearing go to https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/348929213
