Marine Patrol

Hamburg Township police officers provide primary patrol responsibilities on the waterways within Hamburg Township which includes 32 named lakes and several miles of the Huron River. Regular marine patrols on the Chain of Lakes begin each year in May and continue through Labor Day weekend. Officers utilize the department’s 17-foot Boston Whaler patrol boat and two jet-skis to conduct their marine patrol duties.
